The Oratory School, Reading is a family-oriented, co-educational, independent Day and Boarding school. Rated "Excellent" in the Independent Schools Inspectorate (Nov 2021), it caters for children aged 11 to 18 years, combining strong academic results with a supportive family ethos. It is a genuine all-round school, that believes in nurturing pupils to achieve their very best in whatever they set out to do. Whilst it deliberately remains a small school, with small class sizes, The Oratory is also ambitious. With its spiritual heart and history established in the Catholic faith, The Oratory is all inclusive and welcomes staff and pupils of all faiths or none.
We are seeking a quietly confident, self-motivated, customer-focused, target-driven individual with exceptional people skills, who loves nothing more than seeing their team thrive on their successes and who supports and encourages them to excel in all they do.
Previous independent school experience is not essential, although an understanding of the sector would be desirable.
