Following the announcement that the current Head, Bronwen Goulding, is retiring after seven years of successful headship, the school is now looking to the future. Under Bronwen’s leadership, the school has received its best-ever examination results and its greatest success in Oxbridge admissions, with 25% of Year 13 having secured places in Oxbridge Colleges last year, resulting in it being recognised as one of the leading girls’ independent schools in the country. Informed by Christian principles but ecumenical in outlook, St. Francis’ College welcomes pupils of all faiths and none.  It has a current pupil count of 320 but the potential to accommodate more, and a drive for additional pupils, particularly overseas boarders, is underway.   

This role is best suited to someone with experience in change management, high levels of emotional intelligence and an empathetic, supportive, leadership style.
